How Does the Swift Plate mount to...
Tripod
We're big fans of the Arca Swiss system and suggest it as the tripod solution for the Swift Plate. Our absolute favorite tool in this regard is the LS Digi hybrid Arca Swiss and pin mount, which allows you to move from tripod to rolling stand, or baby C Stand with ease.

If you're looking for a slimmer, smaller profile, any Arca Swiss plate in the 70mm to 100mm range which offers multiple connection points will do nicely. We suggest you add a second ¼-20 D ring to make sure your tripod plate never rotates or loosens under production strain.

If you have your own workflow and mounting concept in mind, the Swift Plate offers a series of 1/4-20 connection points at its center, in both vertical and horizontal orientation, so any ¼-20 connector will do just fine.

How do I mount an external hard drive, card reader, or backup battery to the underside of the Swift Plate?
There are a variety of wonderful, niche hardware producers supporting the ecosystem of laptop plates currently on the market, and the Swift Plate is fully compatible with nearly all.

Based out of LA, Brian Faini is a seasoned pro who designs a wide variety of mounts, side hooks, and cable guides for laptop plates. His hard drive mount works equally well mounting external batteries such as those from Anker , Hyper and Zendure.

London based LS, Laimonas, like Faini, provides top notch digital capture services, but also has created a wonderful set of laptop plate tools that offer killer options for the working pro.

Based out of Ukraine, this is a compact team of pros creating some great tools serving photo and film industries. They have a great set of accessories including brackets, stainless steel screws, and they also make our favorite laptop hood for working outdoors in bright conditions.
